Nĭ hăo BEIJING CHINA!!

I'm finally here in Beijing China and I've been here for a week already. It has truly been an adventure so far full of excitment and learning experiences. The language barrier gets difficult at times, but thats when you find out how good you are with body/sign language. The CRCC program and other interns have surely made me feel comfortable being in an entirely different culture. Words can't express how overwhelmed I am by this opportunity. My dream has definitely became a reality. I is still shocking to me every morning that I wake up. I tell myself, "Wow Big Cam...you are really here!" Beijing, China is a very big city. It is very much industrialized and developed causing alot of pollution. I rarely see clear skys, but when I do, it is such a beautiful sight to see across the city. I've tried a variety of foods since I've been here. Some I didn't like so much and some I really enjoyed, such as the Kung Pao Chicken. I've learned that you have to be very open minded when trying new things, going new places, and meeting new people in an area that doesn't function as similiar as back home. China operates totally different from the United States and within just the week I've been here, I've come to really appreciate the minor things I take for granted.
